Male nurses unite for Movember

November 20, 2015

A group of Armadale Health Service nurses are temporarily ditching their razors to raise awareness about men’s health and prostate cancer as part of this year’s Movember campaign.

Ar-mo-dale Chaps representative and Clinical Nurse Jake Hills said his work in health makes Movember a very poignant fundraising effort.

"Working as a nurse, I see first-hand the importance of men getting their health checks,” Mr Hills said.

“Many men who ignore the early warning signs or are reluctant to seek help go on to develop serious health issues in the future.

“We want to change that so more men are able to live happier, healthier and longer lives.”
