The Auxiliary volunteers have commenced trolley rounds at the Armadale Health Service (AHS).

The initiative is being run by new volunteer Val Holloway, who has given herself the moniker ‘Trolley Dolly’.

A recent retiree, Val said she wanted to volunteer somewhere that would allow her to help people and AHS was the perfect fit.

“It’s very important for me to be able to help people,” Val said. “The trolley rounds also allow me to meet new people, get some exercise and have a little fun along the way.”

Val will do her rounds selling drinks, lollies, chocolates, magazines, toys, toiletries and more every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am to 12pm.

Don’t forget to say hi and buy food or essentials if you see the ‘Trolley Dolly’ around. You can visit the rest of the Auxiliary ladies at the AHS Kiosk next to Aroma Café.
